Children Little Museum

Went for alittle walk in Kandahar/haji/arab street after our Bak Kuk Teh lunch~

And we found Little Children Museum at 40 Kandahar street! Small but interesting gem in the city~ by right there is an entrance fee of $2 to maintain the museum but nobody stop us when we entered...=) FREE!

Not very nice~ is a turned off when u saw golden straw mushroom on their bak kuk teh soup.. tt is nt sg bak kuk teh but Malaysia style!!! meat is really tender.. very juicy n soft but their soup base is quite disappointing... the herbs n pepper taste are not as strong as expected~ dont understand why there are so much review about them.. don't even bother to visit them...

those shop houses behind UE square serve better and more authentic Bak Kuk Teh!!!

Went Kko Kko Nara again for supper~ Was crowded at 11.30pm.. they even have a flat screen hang on the wall now~ *business must be picking up*

this time they served salad kr style with mayo and chun jang (korean/jap bean sauce) and honey's favourite radish kimchi in vinegar.. tangy n refreshing

The other time i mention i ate garlic chicken.. haha i was wrong.. it was Sweet and Spicy chicken.. ino say their sauce is made from grin garlic.. *tt is where the mis-interpretation comes from* Spicy chicken comes in whole or half (mini) chicken at $35 and $20++ separately..

Promotion: On Sunday they are having this buy whole garlic chicken free half original chicken offer.. nvr try garlic chick b4.. prob try it on our next visit =)

Valentine eve, had lunch with the whole of ASMD, julia and huixia in the name of "suwito-not-here" mini celebration! ASMD really quite jialat.. all the 12 staff/AM-s boycott their M.. email shoot him back, face to face direct turn him down, mock him -_________-!! HAHA!

Anyway lunch was good at Azabu Sabo Marina Square, they are having this lunch promotion at 7.80 or 9.90++ i chose the executive 9.90 tori katsu set.. with huge chunky tori katsu, soup, side dish and ice lemon tea.. quite worth it for tt amount of portion ^^

Valkyrie: this movie was under expectation.. the flow is tooo slow!!! the whole show is about tom cruise planning to assassinate Hitler ~ and the best part is they never succeed! make ppl excited/gan cheong so much in the end Hitler still perfectly alright!! Woah biang~ -_________-""" they caught the gang and shot them... no torture no blood totally not realistic at all... not worth the $$ to watch

Tiong Bahru have very little indian muslim shop ard.. i understand y i can get the flat so easily liao~ last time when i stayed in my parent house in woodlands.. there is endless of good muslim indian store ard~ *enjoy those gd prata and masala tosai* ~

My $400 Rice Cooker

My MIL came over to SG the other time and comment our current rice cooker cant good good Jap/Korean rice~ so she really got us a new pressure cooker~ and guess what this this cost 2800000Indonesia Ruppia (estimated abt 400SGD compare to current 1:7000 exchange rate) !! super expensive to me-_____-!!!

So what can it do?! it's pressure cooker.. cook better rice, doesnt have the sticky sticky rice vapour/steam that dirty the rice cooker while cooking (really very clean.. no mess.. no sticky rice water) , tell u the time, have a colorful LED light that blink colors, can talk to u in korean (which i dun understand) and even sing to you to inform u the rice is cooked ~_~ HAHAHA

and the most amazing part is IT HAS BLINK BLINK ON THE HANDLE!!!! *WOW* Jess still thought someone left her handphone on the rice cooker~ HAHAHA

Gift i bought for myself this trip~ cant shop much coz i dont feel comfortable when inho mummy insist to pay everything *not very nice/filial to ask your parent to pay when u r working adult in Chinese culture* but according to Korean and Japanese culture parent MUST pay for the younger, if younger insist of paying it shows disrespect/look down on the elder~

Hm.. another culture clash lesson i learned from this trip~ haizz but ask me to allow ino's mum pay ever

9th stop: Jimbaran Bay Restaurant

First impression: Ghost town! the smoke, the amount of pollution is terrible!!! is not just 1 part of the restaurant is the whole roll of restaurant... covered by thick smoke~

They got fresh fish, huge prawn, huge lobster (abt 2-3kg each, size of my arm) i never eaten a lobster that big b4!!! ino mummy end up chose 1 big lobster, prawn, 1 fish, claims and fried sambal kangkong~ This place is located beside 4 season hotel so price wise also not too cheap~

Look at the smoke.. reason being they recycle and use COCONUT shell instead of charcoal.. The seafood taste gd but i don't think they are as fabulous as wat dawn mention.. the smoke make the seafood too dry/old~ they do have their special sauce but all the seafood taste the same with the same sauce!!! -_______-""" felt the lobster was abit wasted to BBQ~ Steam/Sashimi would be a better choice~

Relaxing beach~ nice place.. u can play with the water b4 ur BBQ are ready~ there is 1 amazing band walking around to sing u song. they can sing lotsa of language... i heard them sing English, Chinese, jap, Korean, Spanish... paid $3 for a kr song and it makes ino mummy so happy~ :)
